The Mawanda Project's 2018 Goals:
- Increase teacher & staff salaries
- Purchase 2 acres of land in Balugogo, Iganga
- Raise $10,000 to build infrastructure and relocate MD Standard School
- Partner with US churches, schools, and local organizations for ongoing prayer & support
- Continue to reach, educate, and empower the poor and orphaned children of Iganga

This year, our 5th Annual Christmas Party gathered and fed approximately 300 students and families! We are so thankful for your donations that supported this celebration and allowed us to PURCHASE rice, meat, and drinks, RENT chairs, tents, and a sound system to ENJOY singing, dancing, and a Christmas program for the community of Iganga!
What an amazing FIRST Fundraising Reach Night this past Sunday. We estimated over 75 people in attendance and received over $4,000 in donations towards our $15,000 goal to purchase land and relocate MD Standard School. Special thanks to everyone who attended, Pali Wine Co for hosting the event, San Diego Snack Co, and Take Me Home Furnishing, Blick Art Supplies, Janessa Leoné, Plant Hammocks, & Alyssa Brooke Photography for their raffle prize donations!
