They're On Their Way...

Right now, our 2017 Founder's Trip team is on their way to Uganda, Africa. They safely arrived in Dubai where they have an overnight layover before Pastor Dan and his family will be eagerly awaiting their arrival at the Entebbe Airport.

Thanks to your generous donations, our team exceeded their fundraising goal and raised over $10,000 to directly support this trip and The Mawanda Project. In addition to our team's individual trip costs (flights, lodging, transportation, etc.), these contributions are being used to host a Student/Parent Luncheon, pay teacher salaries, purchase school supplies, support maize farming, and more!

2017 Founder’s Trip

The Mawanda Project is taking a Founder’s Trip to visit Pastor Daniel Mawanda and our friends in Iganga, Africa! This July we’re sending a small team on a 10 day trip to meet with Daniel Mawanda, MD Standard School Staff, students & parents, political figures, and the local community. Our goal is to oversee current operations, determine additional areas of growth & development, prioritize needs, and create a foundation for future missions trips. We are looking forward to meeting the students of MD Standard School, engaging with the community of Iganga, and sharing more of The Mawanda Project's story. Each team member is currently in the process of fundraising $2,200 to help cover trip expenses (flight, lodging, transportation, food, etc). Click HERE to donate to the trip and/or a specific individual! Please be PRAYING for the safety of our team, the work we plan to accomplish, and the community we are continuing to impact. Thank you for your continued support!
