Visions Made Viable

As of the beginning of this month, we now have fiscal sponsorship through Visions Made Viable, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (Tax ID Number: 26-2214003). This means The Mawanda Project has legal and tax exempt status under this sponsoring organization who has agreed to offer administrative overhead and is committed to helping projects launch and achieve their mission. Visions Made Viable supports innovative approaches to social change. They are helping make our vision for The Mawanda Project a reality by helping with the adminstrative tasks and allowing our donors to have tax deductive contributions. They work with various projects and non profits in the US and around the world and we are excited to be partnered with them as we continue to help the children of Uganda.

We reached our goal!!!

We've reached our GOAL of raising $1,500 to send children in Iganga, Uganda to school! Just in time for the new school year, starting mid-Feburary, more children are now provided the opportunity for education. Thank you to everyone who helped contribute to this great cause.
