On Thursday, we visited MUSANA, an organization whose vision is to see rural communities in Uganda develop using sustainable solutions that give HOPE and DIGNITY to the most vulnerable. It was so great to meet with their Ugandan team and to learn how their organization has grown and developed over the last 10 years. We visited their primary, secondary, high school, and vocational classes, as well as toured their guest housing to see what it would look like to stay here on future mission trips! The rest of the afternoon our team was back at the hotel hanging out with Bonny until later in the evening when we met with Pastor Dan and his team to preparation for the next day's MD Standard School Parent Meeting.
Friday, our day started out at MD Standard School to meet the parents of our learners and see all the students sing, dance, and celebrate. Pastor Dan, Pastor Julius, and the staff all encouraged parents to equip their children and to help where they are able. Our team presented the staff and school with their new laptop, printer, and camera - all thanks to your generous donations!
